Current Computer Classes - Our computer and robotics classes for middle school through high school students

Robofest

Robofest - for 5th-12th graders
Students design, construct and program their robots while learning problem-solving techniques, mathematics, logic, creativity, physics, electronics, mechanics, teamwork, computers and computer programming. Started at Lawrence Tech in 2000, Robofest has grown rapidly.

Our regional event will include both a Junior (5th-9th grade) and Senior (9th-12th grade) level competition as well as an Exhibition and RoboFashionShow (4th-9th grade).
We'll need teams, volunteers, judges and sponsors. Students from all over TX are invited to participate. Information meeting/workshop in January 26, 2008 (email above address for details.)

FIRST TECH Challenge

FIRST TECH Challenge - for high school students
The FIRST Tech Challenge is a mid-level robotics competition principally for high-school-aged students. It offers the traditional challenge of a FIRST competition but with a more accessible and affordable robotics kit. The ultimate goal of FTC is to reach more young people with a lower-cost, more accessible opportunity to discover the excitement and rewards of science, technology, and engineering.
