Thanks for you feedback for the 2007-08 season for both Houston and San Antonio!
Bass Hall in Austin will be closed for renovations this season, but thanks to the great response in both Austin and Houston, we have been able to make to make arrangements for San Antonio shows for this season.

Based upon your feedback, we have picked what shows will be offered for Homeschool Discounts for the next season. Exact show time dates will be picked at a later time. In general the offers for these shows will take place anywhere from 3 to 8 months before the show date, depending upon the availability of tickets.

For each show, there will be specific performance dates picked for the homeschool discount show during that show's run period, but you will be able to pick from multiple seating/price levels. In general the show dates will either be on a Sunday, Tues or Wed night for our best prices. Tickets will be sent directly to you or available at Will Call if the offer is close to the show date. Once an offer expires you will NOT be able to get the group sales rate, so it's very important for you to order in a timely manner once the sale for a particular show is active.

Note while shows are listed below in order by show date, we may need to do the actual offers out of order, depending upon the show. Watch for notices. Only one show will be offered at any one time. For most current info check this page

Tentative schedule of shows for the 2007-08 season including show descriptions. Most shows last approx 2 hours. Some are more mature than other shows, due to the nature of live theater, each family will need to decide if a show is suitable or not for their tastes/interests/maturity of their children.

Michael Flatley's name is synonymous with the wave of Celtic dance mania that began sweeping the world in the mid-1990s and has continued to grow steadily ever since. He is the American-born dance pioneer who created Lord of the Dance - the most popular touring dance production in history.
The youngest son of Irish parents who immigrated to the U.S. after WWII, Flatley spent much of his childhood in their native Ireland, where he developed an affinity for the traditional form of Celtic dance. It is this form of dance that Flatley combined with ultramodern techniques and a synergistic blend of other styles to create Lord of the Dance.
Recognized as the guiding force that helped catapult Irish dancing into the global spotlight, Flatley conceived and choreographed the theatrical extravaganza that has been seen by more than 50 million people worldwide at sold out theaters, arenas and stadiums. He originated the role of the Lord, and presently serves as the show's artistic director.
Michael Flatley, who originated the role of the Lord, serves as the artistic director and continues to oversee all aspects of the production. The first American to win the All-World Championship in Irish Dance, Flatley opened the show in Dublin in 1996. This came about as a result of our visit to the educators open house for the Houston Theater District. This will be our 4th season for Houston offers. Last season we added Austin homeschool offers, this will be our first year for San Antonio offers. We don't make anything from the sales, this is provided as a service to the homeschool community.
