New Polls for Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas!
Please vote for the new 2008-09 season so
we can confirm that there is enough interest to make
our required minimum (20 tickets). Only those shows that show enough interest to make our
required minimums will have homeschool offers.
Feel free to participate in any of the polls if it's likely you would attend
shows in these cities.
New offer for Houston!We have made special
arrangements through TUTS - Theater Under the Stars to have homeschool
discounts for select shows. For
this season, we will only set up offers for It's A Wonderful Life, The 25th Annual
Putnam County Spelling Bee and The Drowsy Chaperone. These
shows did not have student matinee performances
available and have not been offered through other homeschool groups and
are not available through BAA. On select performances we will be able
to get a 20% discount. For these 3 test shows, we'll see what
type of response we get and based on that, decide what shows, if any,
will be offered for next season with TUTS. Please help us make our min
order. Only 15 tickets required.

unable to contact some of our users who expressed interest in shows
because Comcast is no longer forwarding your emails and your addresses
bounce if we try to substitite comcast.net in your address. Please

does not order at least 15 for each show offered, we will not be able

Show Description - The Drowsey Chaparone:
Get ready to be transported to a magical, wonderful world! A world where the critics are in awe,
the audiences are in heaven and the neighborhood is buzzing with excitement. Welcome to The Drowsy Chaperone,
the new musical comedy that is swooping into town with tons of laughs and the most 2006 Tony Awards of any
musical on Broadway! It all begins when a die-hard musical fan plays his favorite cast album, a 1928 smash
hit called "The Drowsy Chaperone," and the show magically bursts to life. We are instantly immersed in the
glamorous, hilarious tale of a celebrity bride and her uproarious wedding day, complete with thrills and
surprises that take both the cast (literally) and the audience (metaphorically) soaring into the rafters.

the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts is available and ready for
use by TAFFIE
Homeschoolers parents,
family and friends. The site is encrypted for credit
card security. Please follow these instructions for
purchasing the tickets online.
(**Before
purchasing tickets you may want to go to seating maps under
"ticketing" and print out the seating so you will see what
area your seats will be in.)
Click

to go to the TUTS site.
Icons for the different shows will come up. Click Purchase
Tickets
next to the Drowsey Chaparone icon.
Enter
code in all caps:
HOMESCHOOL
and
hit
the go/enter button next to the code box.
Click
on the event date
to
get to the online ticket screen (don't enter code again)
Select
number of tickets & level of ticket pricing you wish to
purchase
A
screen will come up with seating and pricing which includes the
ticket price and a $5.25 per ticket fee for online purchases.
If
several seating options show up, press "release these seats"
button on each to release seating you do not want!
-Be
sure to select delivery method for the tickets (if
you select “print your own tickets” you will
receive an email
with the tickets attached for you to print and take to the theatre)
You
will be asked to register as a new TUTS subscriber. Complete ALL
areas of the registration before continuing.
Put
in credit card information. It will ask for verification #. Click on
"what is this" and a box will pull up with the different
credit cards showing you where the verification # is for each card.
Continue
with process.
You
will be emailed confirmation of your ticket purchase. Please

treasured holiday film by Frank Capra is now brought to musical life in
