These are some of the books that I have read and really like!

Favorites:

These are my first, second and third most favorite books and it's not because they are about chocolate.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Nobody has been allowed in the Factory for years until 5 lucky children get gold tickets to visit the factory.

Chocolate Touch

This is a good book, even if you like chocolate.

Chocolate Fever

I don't want to give to much away here, but it is a good book. A boy gets a disease and finds out how important chocolate is. You will be surprised.

Portraits of Little Women:

These are not the only four books in the Portraits of Little Women series. Each story's about one of the March sisters when she was 10.

I won't give the ending away.

Jo's Story	Beth's Story	Meg's Story	Amy's Story

Jo overhears a conversation. Now she has to make an important decision	Beth and her parents go to New York. She meets someone famous. Because she's shy, almost no one believes her. Until...	I have not read this book yet. I'll review it soon...	This one is not as memorable to me. I'll say more later.

Each book has activities and the first chapter from the other three stories at the end. For example, one of the activities in Amy's Story is how to make scones.

The book's colors are nice and they have bookmarks attached to each book. The bookmarks are the same color as the book.

The books take place around the Civil War.

Jo wishes she were a boy and her story may be more fun for a boy to read.
