DVD and Music
There are now thousands of titles available on DVD. DVD provides
a superior sound and picture quality over VHS. Additionally, many DVDs are really
good about adding extra features including documentaries about how the movie was made.
We've listed a few of our favorite titles that have a special musical appeal.
Blues Brothers - Collector's Edition (1980) DVD
This movie had a great story, an amazing chase at the end
and best of all great blues music by such artist as Ray Charles, John
Lee Hooker and Aretha Franklin. The DVD format is wonderful with the
digital sound and clear pictures, with special added extras. Many familiar
sites in Chicago can be spotted in this fast-paced comedy. Even though
almost 20 years have past since it was released, it can be enjoyed again
and again.
"We have a full tank of gas. Its 108 miles to Chicago.
It is dark, and we're wearing sun glasses. Hit it."
