This is an info meeting designed to help you better understand some of
the robotics opportunities available in the Houston area. Learn
what's available and which programs are age appropriate for your
student. This will be a general information meeting, at a later time we
will schedule programming workshops.
At this meeting we will:
introduce and give an overview and description of some of
robotics programs available to students including FLL, BEST, EARLY and
Robofest including costs, schedules, suitable ages, and related
resources.
detailed information about Robofest, the regional robotics competition we coordinate each spring.
determine future interest in programming workshops.
demonstration/show and tell. We will demonstrate an NXT robot, if you have a robot to show off, bring it to the meeting
general
questions and answers.
Objective: Help participates understand the different robotics
opportunties available to them. Generate interest among potential
Robofest teams. Determine interest in future robotics programming
classes.
Target Audience: Anyone that wants to learn more about robotics.
We have scheduled ths meeting for late August.

interest is shown.
